“Big and Small” Workshop – Families at the Municipal Library
The Large and Small Workshops – families are back at the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Municipal Library.
Led by Joana Charneca, the sessions allow books to come to life in a surprising way, transporting children and their families through stories that make them fly without leaving their place, in which each page opens onto a new world, where imagination and art meet.
In this way, the organizer proposes to children aged 4 to 10, accompanied by their parents, an unforgettable journey through unique books, which reveal the power of stories in a playful and interactive way.
Joana Charneco, affectionately known as ‘Joana of stories’, has a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Primary School Teaching, with a specialization in the Art of Storytelling by ISEC. Over the years, she has participated in several training courses that have deepened her knowledge of children’s literature and the art of storytelling.
Her passion for stories “is infinite”, as she believes that “we are all made of stories and that it is through them that we connect, learn about the world and discover more about ourselves.”

Os Ateliês Grandes e Pequenos – famílias voltaram à Biblioteca Municipal Manuel Teixeira Gomes.
Dinamizadas por Joana Charneca, as sessões permitem que os livros ganhem vida de maneira surpreendente, transportando as crianças e seus familiares por histórias que as fazem voar sem sair do lugar, nas quais cada página se abre para um novo mundo, onde imaginação e arte se encontram.
Desse modo, a dinamizadora propõe às crianças dos 4 aos 10 anos, acompanhadas pelos pais, uma viagem inesquecível por livros únicos, que revelam o poder das histórias de forma lúdica e interativa.
Joana Charneco, carinhosamente conhecida por ‘Joana das histórias’, é mestre em Educação de Infância e no Ensino do 1.º Ciclo, com uma especialização em Arte de Contar Estórias pelo ISEC. Ao longo dos anos, participou em diversas formações que aprofundaram os seus conhecimentos em literatura infantil e na arte de contar histórias.
A sua paixão por histórias “é infinita”, pois acredita que “todos somos feitos de histórias e que é através delas que nos conectamos, aprendemos sobre o mundo e descobrimos mais sobre nós próprios.”
