On December 29th, Praia da Rocha will host the eighth edition of the Malta Championship, a local championship for surfers, longboarders and bodyboarders, which includes the Surfing, Bodyboarding and Longboarding categories.

In longboarding, athletes will be able to compete in the Open category; In bodyboarding, there will be the Open and Under 18 categories. In surfing, athletes will be divided between Under 16, Open, Masters (+40) and Women.

Registrations must be made online HERE until December 26th.

The event is organized by Portimão Surf and has the institutional support of the Municipality of Portimão, the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ) and the Parish Council of Portimão.

Campeonato Da Malta

No dia 29 de dezembro, a Praia da Rocha recebe a oitava edição do Campeonato da Malta, um campeonato local para surfistas, longboarders e bodyboarders, que engloba as modalidades de Surf, Bodyboard e Longboard.

Em longboard, os atletas poderão competir na categoria Open; em bodyboard, existirá a categoria Open e Sub 18. No surf, os atletas serão dividios entre Sub 16, Open, Masters (+40) e Feminino.

As inscrições devem ser feitas online AQUI até ao dia 26 de dezembro.

O evento é organizado pelo Portimão Surf e conta com o apoio institucional do Município de Portimão, Instituto Português do Desporto e da Juventude (IPDJ) e Junta de Freguesia de Portimão.
