Cantares De Reis

The Three Kings Day brings the Christmas season to a close. From north to south of the country, groups of men, women and children sing from door to door, keeping an ancient tradition alive. In Albufeira, however, they stand out for a small originality: there are carols in the Town Hall, not only for workers, but for the residents in general. There will be many carolers from different groups, who will energetically and joyfully “vote” their wishes for happiness and prosperity for those present for the new year. Unmissable!

Os Reis encerram o ciclo do Natal. De norte a sul do país, bandos de homens, mulheres e crianças cantam de porta em porta, mantendo viva uma tradição antiga. Em Albufeira porém, destacam-se por uma pequena originalidade: há reisadas nos Paços do Concelho, não só para os trabalhadores, como para os munícipes em geral. Os reiseiros serão muitos e de diversos grupos, que enérgica e alegremente vão “votar” os seus desejos de felicidade e prosperidade aos presentes para o novo ano. Imperdível!
