The Orquestra do Algarve invites all its audience to celebrate the magic of Christmas through music. In an exceptional program that combines classical pieces with new contemporary versions, creating an engaging, fun and very exciting musical experience, essential pieces of this festive season will be performed. To the sound of the orchestra, we will travel by sleigh through snow-covered landscapes and remember the colors, sparkles, smells and flavors as only Christmas is possible. But in this concert the audience will have a different and fundamental role! Encouraged to sing by Rui Baeta who will be the mediator and conducted by maestra Constança Simas, in a spontaneous, tuned and very musical choir, they will join their voices to the orchestra’s instruments in songs such as “Silent Night”, from “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”, “White Christmas” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to share this unforgettable experience with your whole family, in tune with the true Christmas spirit. (1787-1863)

A Orquestra do Algarve convida todo o seu público a celebrar a magia do Natal através da música. Num programa excecional que combina peças clássicas com novas versões contemporâneas, criando uma experiência musical envolvente, divertida e muito emocionante, serão interpretadas peças incontornáveis desta época festiva. Ao som da orquestra iremos viajar de trenó por paisagens cobertas de neve e recordar as cores, brilhos, cheiros e sabores como só no Natal é possível. Mas neste concerto o público terá um papel diferente e fundamental! Encorajado a cantar por Rui Baeta que fará a mediação e dirigido pela maestra Constança Simas, num coro espontâneo, afinado, e muito musical, juntará a sua voz aos instrumentos da orquestra em canções como “Noite Feliz”, de “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”, “White Christmas” e “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”.
