The Grandes e Pequenos- Famílias workshops return on October 12th at the Portimão Municipal Library, with the session “Flying from story to story”. 

In this session, books come to life in surprising ways! With pop-ups, picture books and other creative forms of visual narratives, we are transported by stories that make us fly without leaving our place. Each page opens to a new world, where imagination and art meet. An unforgettable journey through unique books, which reveal the power of stories in a playful and interactive way.

On November 30th, Kamishibai – Paper Theatre 

Kamishibai is a traditional Japanese form of storytelling using illustrations on paper, displayed in a small wooden theatre called “butai”. While the stories are being told, we can see the illustrations passing by the butai, thus creating an immersive experience that stimulates the imagination and helps children to better understand the story.

On January 25th – Stories in the burrow 

The Burrow is a place full of stories and fun, let’s explore together a world of animals, magic and fantasy. In this welcoming space, each tale takes us to new adventures. Come and discover the incredible stories that live in Mr. Rabbit’s Burrow!

February 22nd – Between Howls and Tales

This session takes the audience on a journey through the forest, where stories full of adventures can be found. Some more traditional and familiar, others surprising and modern. At each step, the narratives reveal wolves, who can be the villains or unexpected heroes, defying expectations. It is a magical experience, where timeless lessons emerge in captivating ways, awakening the imagination and inviting everyone to reflect on the power of stories.

March 29 – Stories from my grandmother

My Grandmother’s Story Session” is a special moment where we share traditional tales and nursery rhymes that have been passed down from generation to generation by grandmothers. Each story is a journey to the past, full of wisdom and magic.

May 31 – Sea of ​​Stories 

Let’s embark together on an exciting journey through the sea of ​​stories. Let’s explore stories that take us on fantastic and surprising adventures across the seas, where boats, pirates and sea creatures are present.

Biographical note of the (organizer)
Joana Charneco, affectionately known as “Joana das Histórias”, has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, with a specialization in the Art of Storytelling from ISEC. Over the years, she has participated in several training courses that have deepened her knowledge of children’s literature and the art of storytelling. Her passion for stories is infinite, she believes that we are all made of stories and that it is through them that we connect, learn about the world and discover more about ourselves.

For Joana, each story is an opportunity to travel to new worlds, learn valuable lessons and strengthen the bonds that unite us. She is also the author of the “Toca do Conto” page on social media, where she shares her passion and inspires others to discover the transformative power of stories. Her goal is to bring magic, inspiration and emotion, allowing everyone to “fly without leaving their place”

Em Outubro, Regressam Os Ateliês Grandes E Pequenos – Famílias

Os ateliês Grandes e Pequenos- Famílias regressam a 12 de outubro na Biblioteca Municipal de Portimão, com a sessão “Voar de conto em conto”. 

Nesta sessão os livros ganham vida de maneira surpreendente! Com pop-ups, livros-álbum e outras formas criativas de narrativas visuais, somos transportados por histórias que nos fazem voar sem sair do lugar. Cada página se abre para um novo mundo, onde imaginação e arte se encontram. Uma viagem inesquecível por livros únicos, que revelam o poder das histórias de forma lúdica e interativa.

A 30 de novembro, Kamishibai – Teatro de Papel 

Kamishibai é uma tradicional forma japonesa de contar histórias utilizando ilustrações em papel, exibidas num pequeno teatro de madeira chamado “butai”. Enquanto as histórias são narradas  podemos ver as ilustrações a passar no butai, criando assim uma experiência envolvente que estimula a imaginação e ajuda as crianças a compreenderem melhor a história.

No dia 25 de janeiro – Histórias na toca 

A Toca é um lugar cheio de histórias e diversão, vamos explorar juntos um mundo de animais, magia e fantasia. Neste espaço acolhedor, cada conto nos leva a novas aventuras. Vem descobrir as histórias incríveis que vivem na Toca do Senhor Coelho!

22 fevereiro – Entre Uivos e Contos

Esta sessão leva o público numa viagem pela floresta, onde se encontram histórias repletas de aventuras. Algumas mais tradicionais e familiares, outras surpreendentes e modernas. A cada passo, as narrativas revelam lobos, que podem ser os vilões ou heróis inesperados, desafiando expectativas. É uma experiência mágica, onde as lições intemporais surgem de formas cativantes, despertando a imaginação e convidando todos a refletir sobre o poder dos contos.

29 março – Histórias da minha avó

Sessão de Histórias da Minha Avó” é um momento especial onde partilhamos contos tradicionais e lengalengas que foram passados de geração em geração pelas avós. Cada história é uma viagem ao passado, cheia de sabedoria e magia.

31 maio – Mar d’estórias 

Vamos embarcar juntos numa emocionante viagem pelo mar de estórias. Vamos explorar contos que nos levam a aventuras fantásticas e surpreendentes pelos mares, onde barcos, piratas e seres marinhos marcam presença.

Nota biográfica da (dinamizadora)
Joana Charneco conhecida carinhosamente como “Joana das Histórias”, é Mestre em Educação de Infância e no Ensino do 1.º Ciclo, com uma especialização em Arte de Contar Estórias pelo ISEC. Ao longo dos anos, participou em diversas formações que aprofundaram os seus conhecimentos em literatura infantil e na arte de contar histórias. A sua paixão por histórias é infinita,  ela acredita que todos somos feitos de histórias e que é através delas que nos conectamos, aprendemos sobre o mundo e descobrimos mais sobre nós próprios.

Para Joana, cada conto é uma oportunidade de viajar para novos mundos, aprender lições valiosas e fortalecer os laços que nos unem. Além disso, é autora da página “Toca do Conto” nas redes sociais, onde partilha a sua paixão e inspira outros a descobrir o poder transformador das histórias. O seu objetivo é levar magia, inspiração e emoção, permitindo que todos possam “voar sem sair do lugar”
