The Community Choir of the Algarve Orchestra presents a selection of festive songs that are part of the collective memory of us all . And because it is Christmas at least until the Three Kings’ Day, the magnificent Christmas Carols of English tradition are joined by the Portuguese Christmas Carols that we heard from our grandparents and parents, and that we now pass on to our children and grandchildren. But these songs that we bring back the most beautiful memories that warm our hearts, as well as others that are well known to everyone, from cinema and TV… Does Hakuna Matata ring a bell?
Directed by baritone Rui Baeta, This is the concert in which, together, the Choir and the audience, we say goodbye to Christmas 24 and celebrate its true values: its spirit of sharing, welcoming and communion. All equal, without divisions or differences, united among all by the love of singing and music, to start the New Year with great joy and satisfaction!

O Coro Comunitário da Orquestra do Algarve apresenta uma seleção de canções festivas que fazem parte da memória coletiva de todos nós. E porque é Natal pelo menos até ao dia de Reis, aos magníficos Christmas Carols de tradição inglesa juntam-se os Cânticos de Natal Portugueses que ouvimos dos avós e dos pais, e que agora passamos aos filhos e netos. Mas a estas músicas que nos trazem as mais bonitas recordações e que nos aquecem o coração, juntam-se ainda outras bem conhecidas de todos, do cinema e da TV… Hakuna Matata diz-vos algo?
Dirigido pelo barítono Rui Baeta, este é o concerto em que todos juntos a cantar, Coro e público, despedimo-nos do Natal 24 e celebramos os seus verdadeiros valores: o seu espírito de partilha, de acolhimento e de comunhão. Todos iguais, sem divisões nem diferenças, unidos entre todos pelo amor ao canto e à música, para começar o Ano Novo com muita alegria e satisfação!
