La Transumante, De Johann Le Guillerm

450 three-metre-long wooden beams, ten manipulators and a master builder. The wooden creature, which is held together by the intertwining of the wooden blocks, and Johann Le Guillerm begin a slow, changing march, creating a playful space that varies depending on the landscape that welcomes them. Solid and fragile, “La Transumante” is constructed and deconstructed in the same movement. Its shape is not predefined, it is the result of the mesh that constructs it. Agitated by contradictory forces, it comes to life as it transforms.

“La Transumante” is the result of an artistic investigation called “Attraction” that Johann Le Guillerm has been developing since 2001. The artist seeks to act on the disorder of the world to create a poetic order.

On December 11th, Portimão City Day, Johann Le Guillerm and his enormous wooden creature will be at Praça 1º de Maio between 12:00 and 19:00, accompanied by the Electric Guitar, Wind Instrument and Choir/Voice laboratories.

La Transumante, De Johann Le Guillerm

450 barrotes de madeira de três metros de comprimento, dez manipuladores e um mestre de obras. A criatura de madeira, que é mantida unida pelo entrelaçamento dos blocos de madeira, e Johann Le Guillerm iniciam uma marcha lenta e mutante criando um espaço lúdico que varia em função da paisagem que os acolhe. Sólida e frágil, “La Transumante” constrói-se e desconstrói-se no mesmo movimento. A sua forma não é predefinida, é o resultado da malha que a constrói. Agitada por forças contraditórias, ganha vida à medida que se transforma.

“La Transumante” é o resultado de uma investigação artística chamada “Attraction” que Johann Le Guillerm tem desenvolvido desde 2001. O artista procura atuar sobre a desordem do mundo para criar uma ordem poética.

No dia 11 de dezembro, Dia da Cidade de Portimão, Johann Le Guillerm e a sua enorme criatura de madeira estarão, entre as 12h00 e as 19h00, na Praça 1º de Maio, acompanhados pelos laboratórios de Guitarras Elétricas, Sopros e Coro/Voz.
