Burying present and future memories linked to the city of Portimão was the challenge launched by the “Museu do TEMPO”.
Each participant chose an important object from their life and linked to their experience of the city, as well as a place to bury it 50 cm deep. From this exercise that was developed throughout the year, a map of the city was created that will be the place of each memory-object and its own history, and that the public will be able to explore, rediscovering the city, this time, from the memories and affections of the people who inhabit it, in this “Museum of TIME”.

Museu Do Tempo – Cerimónias De Enterro

Enterrar memórias presentes e futuras ligadas à cidade de Portimão foi o desafio lançado pelo “Museu do TEMPO”.
Cada participante escolheu um objeto importante da sua vida e ligado à sua vivência da cidade, assim como um lugar onde enterrá-lo a 50 cm de profundidade. A partir deste exercício que foi desenvolvido ao longo do ano, foi criado um mapa da cidade que será o lugar de cada memória-objeto e a sua própria história, e que o público poderá percorrer, redescobrindo a cidade, desta vez, a partir das memórias e dos afetos das pessoas que a habitam, neste “Museu do TEMPO”.
