ÓPERA Vencer o DIa | OPERA Win the Day

We’re back!…After the success in the municipalities of Loulé and Lagoa, it’s time to present this very special project that won over the public with the Lacobrigenses!

The Opera Vencer o Dia, governed by the motto “love is more invisible than hate. That’s why it’s so important.
Good things are more invisible, harder to see” promises to be a show of sharing, experiences and challenges among the performers.

It’s a work of participatory art that focuses on the fusion of people, professionals and non-professionals, and which had as its starting point the long work already carried out by Teatro do Sótão – ASMAL’s Inclusive group, under the direction of Nidia Gonçalves.

This project brings together on stage 5 lyrical singers from the D’Aquém Mar Baroque Orchestra in a special formation, consisting of a string quintet, travesso, harpsichord and percussion. It is a tutti supported by electronic work that adapts to the needs of the body and sound mass.

A Ópera Vencer o Dia, regida pelo mote “o amor é mais invisível que o ódio. Por isso é tão importante.
As coisas boas são mais invisíveis, mais difíceis de ver” promete ser um espetáculo de partilha, de experiências e de desafios entre os intérpretes.

É um trabalho de arte participativa que aposta na fusão de pessoas, profissionais e não-profissionais, e que teve como ponto de partida o longo trabalho já realizado pelo Teatro do Sótão – grupo Inclusivo da ASMAL, sob a direção de Nidia Gonçalves.

Este projeto reúne em palco 5 cantores líricos da Orquestra Barroca D’Aquém Mar numa formação especial, constituída por quinteto de cordas, travesso, cravo e percussão. É um tutti sustentado por um trabalho de eletrónica que se molda às necessidades da massa corporal e sonora.
