PARTNER WORK INTO CONTACT IMPROVISATION

〽️ Join for a dynamic partnering workshop on July 26, 2024, from 6 PM to 10 PM!

〽️We’ll kick off with warm-up activities focused on partnering games called -object desire
-manipulation in pairs
-the catcher game

◻️Next, we’ll dive into the technical and physical aspects, practicing a series of partnering movements across the space.

▫️Then, we’ll learn a short partner sequence together.

〽️After a 10-15 minute break the second part of the workshop, will start with modified exercises inspired by martial arts.

◻️To conclude, we’ll engage in guided contact improvisation, incorporating everything we’ve explored during the workshop.

❗️ For all levels, it doesn’t matter if you are a professional dancer, dance as a hobby, or if this will be your first encounter with dancing.
