Presépio De Rua Da Guia | Guia Street Nativity Scene

Since November, Guia has been displaying this Nativity Scene on the streets, consisting of a set of large figures representing various historical scenes associated with the birth of Jesus: the Annunciation of the Angel to Mary, the Nativity, characters such as King Herod and the Three Wise Men, among other figures that usually populate Christmas nativity scenes. Created by the sculptor Toin Adams, a British artist who has lived in the Algarve for over a decade, this exhibition comprises 30 figures located in a considerable area between the Chapel of Our Lady of Guia and the Main Church. The Nativity Scene will be on display until January 6th.

Desde novembro que a Guia tem em exposição pelas ruas, este Presépio composto por um conjunto de figuras de grandes dimensões que representam diversas cenas históricas associadas ao nascimento de Jesus: a Anunciação do Anjo a Maria, a Natividade, personagens como o Rei Herodes e os Reis Magos, entre outras figuras que costumam povoar os presépios de Natal. Da autoria da escultora Toin Adams, artista britânica residente no Algarve há mais de uma década, esta mostra compreende 30 figuras localizadas numa extensão considerável entre a Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Guia e a Igreja Matriz. O Presépio estará em exposição até 6 de janeiro.
