How to live in a world in perpetual motion? TERCES is a visual laboratory installed on a circus ring, where machines work by themselves, forces never before explored are exposed in objects without technology, moving with a poetic or utopian energy. Johann Le Guillerm tries, risks understanding the energy, the movement, what animates the matter that surrounds us, sometimes to the point of failure. It is an invitation to the spectator to participate in the development of a thought, instead of passively watching an achievement.

After “Secret (temps 1)” in 2003 and “Secret (temps 2)” in 2012, TERCES is the third mutation of a unique and unclassifiable work that Johann Le Guillerm has been working on since 2001, entitled “Attraction”. This is an attempt to understand the world from a 360° perspective, developing different points of view on it, just like what happens on the circus ring itself.

Como viver num mundo em movimento perpétuo? TERCES é um laboratório visual instalado numa pista de circo, onde as máquinas trabalham sozinhas, forças nunca exploradas são expostas em objetos sem tecnologia, movendo-se com uma energia poética ou utópica. Johann Le Guillerm tenta, arrisca-se a compreender a energia, o movimento, o que anima a matéria que nos rodeia, por vezes até ao fracasso. É um convite ao espectador para participar no desenvolvimento de um pensamento, em vez de assistir passivamente a um feito.

Depois de “Secret (temps 1)” em 2003 e “Secret (temps 2)” em 2012, TERCES é a terceira mutação de uma obra única e inclassificável em que Johann Le Guillerm tem trabalhado desde 2001, intitulada “Attraction”. Trata-se de uma tentativa de compreender o mundo a partir de uma visão de 360°, desenvolvendo diferentes pontos de vista sobre o mesmo, tal como acontece na própria pista de circo.
