“Na Luz da Lua” is a workshop for building creative books with willow branches and white fabric. Sewing threads that carry ideas and using watercolors to print leaves and flowers that represent the nature that still remains within us and that will be honored for its ability to continually die and be reborn. Two sessions are proposed that begin with the presentation of Mia Couto’s little big stories in a performance that interconnects words and images, inviting participants to dream.

“ Stories of the birth of the earth” by Mia Couto:
“Once upon a time there was a girl who asked her father to go catch the moon for her. The father got into a boat and rowed away…”. Two short stories that allow us to question how we observe the world that surrounds and inhabits us. A delicate universe with abstract characters so that everyone can see it, feel it and recreate it within themselves.

Free parking – The Lagos Cultural Center and the Lagos Municipal Library They offer free parking in the Frente Ribeirinha park (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) for those attending their shows/events. For this discount, the user simply needs to present, at the park reception, a stamp obtained at the ticket office of the Centro Cultural de Lagos or entrance to the Municipal Library of Lagos. The offer only applies to one hour before and up to one hour after each show/event.

“À Luz da Lua” é uma oficina de construção de livros criativos com ramos de salgueiro e tecido branco. Costura de fios que transportam ideias e utilização de aguarelas para imprimir folhas e flores que representam a natureza que ainda resta dentro de nós e que será homenageada pela sua capacidade de morrer e renascer continuamente. São propostas duas sessões que iniciam com a apresentação das pequenas grandes histórias de Mia Couto numa performance que interliga as palavras e as imagens, convidando os participantes a sonhar.

“Contos do nascer da terra” de Mia Couto:
“Era uma vez uma menina que pediu ao pai que fosse apanhar a lua para ela. O pai meteu-se num barco e remou para longe…”. Dois pequenos contos que permitem questionar como observamos o mundo que nos rodeia e habita. Um universo delicado com personagens abstratos para que cada um possa vê-lo, senti-lo e recriá-lo dentro de si.

Estacionamento gratuito – O Centro Cultural de Lagos e a Biblioteca Municipal de Lagos oferecem estacionamento gratuito no parque da Frente Ribeirinha (Avenida dos Descobrimentos) para o público dos seus espetáculos/eventos. Para o referido desconto basta que o utente apresente, na receção do parque, carimbo obtido na bilheteira do Centro Cultural de Lagos ou entrada da Biblioteca Municipal de Lagos. A oferta diz apenas respeito a uma hora antes e até uma hora depois de cada espetáculo/evento.
