O Cais is located right by the waterfront, overlooking the roman bridge. You can relax on the pavement terrace and watch the ebb and flow of the river as you sip a cold beer, or sample some of the freshly prepared dishes.
Housed in a charming historical building, just a few minutes stroll from the main historical landmarks of the town, O Cais offers an inviting blend of Portuguese and international tapas, allowing diners to savour a variety of small dishes crafted from fresh, local ingredients.

International and Portuguese Tapas
The menu at O Cais is varied and offers a range of tempting tapas, perfect for sharing with friends, paired with some regional wine. Local produce is used whenever possible, and usually there are vegan and vegetarian dishes available too.

Live Music at O Cais
With a cosy, intimate ambience, O Cais is a superb venue for live music events of all types. The restaurant hosts regular Fado evenings. Fado is Portugal’s iconic musical genre with deep historical roots, and the ancient town of Silves is the perfect setting for live Fado performances.
